About this outfit:

I started this outfit with the kimono - it was warm and I didn’t want to wear a shirt. I know this hat works well with the kimono and I’m a big fan of using the belts from kimonos to link items together. Keeping the same print as an accent is very cool.

The contrast of the white linen pants versus the hat was appealing to me, and the kimono pattern tied the two together as it has some black and some white. The bold black elements of my bag, the kimono sleeves and the hat mean everything feels like it fits together.

Something I really like about this outfit is that it breathes really well. The picture was taken before a wedding in Bali and the outfit influenced a few of the other groomsmen when it came time for shopping on the island. I think it’s one of my best constructed outfits.
